I have bought various things to Amanda. I bought a bow thruster and it is a great advantage when you have to make harbor maneuvers and so on. I also have an autopilot and a plotter, and VHF and everything is fully updated! I also bought a new engine, because the boat originally came with an engine that was too small in my opinion, with 19 HP, and I have now bought a new Solé engine with 33 HP, which I think the boat needs. We race every Monday. We have started this here in our “Langelinie Marina”. We also race in neighboring clubs, and now in my old age the trips aren’t as long as they used to be in the old days, around Zealand, around Funen and so on, now it’s more up and down the strait where there are incredibly many lovely marinas on both the Zealand side and the Swedish side.
