Three things to do
The whole process, before we go into detail.
First
Open your Cockpit
Log in, or register free. Your Cockpit is where everything happens.
Then
Buy a listing token
One token publishes one boat. Paid by card through Stripe.
Finally
Publish your boat
Add a price, a description and your contact details. Submit.
Before you start
Four things worth knowing, so nothing stops you halfway.
- Your boat must already be registered in the HR-Club database. If she is not, add her from your Cockpit first.
- You do not need to upload anything new. Your existing boat profile becomes the sales listing.
- The fuller that profile already is, the better she sells. Photos, specification, engine, equipment — every field you have filled in is one more reason for a buyer to make contact.
- Decide your asking price. Listings are shown in euros (€), and payment for the token is handled by Stripe.

- Check your basket in the top right corner.
- Click Checkout.

Create your listing
Steps 6–9Open My Listings
Back in your Cockpit, click My listings. The number under Listing tokens is how many boats you can still publish.
Choose the boat
Click Select a boat on the right, then pick the yacht you want to sell from your registered boats.
Fill in the sales details
- Price (€) — required. Engine hours and length are optional but buyers look for them.
- Sales description — condition, equipment, recent work, and why she is a good boat.
- Contact information — name, email, phone. Add a link to an external sales page if a broker is handling the sale.
Check it, then submit
Read everything once more — especially the price and your email address. Then click Submit.
Your boat's own page updates straight away and shows her as for sale.
Who sees her
Not a general classifieds site. An audience that already sails these boats.
Where buyers will find her
After you submitIn the Boat Market
Your boat now appears in the Boat Market, reachable from the main menu on every page of the site.
Write a description that sells
The listings that find buyers fastest all do the same four things.
Give the year, not the adjective
Say what was replaced and when. "New standing rigging, 2023" is worth more than "well maintained".
Say where she lies
Buyers plan a trip to see her. Put the harbour and the country near the top.
Be honest about the work needed
Every boat has a list. Naming it builds trust, and it saves you a wasted viewing.
Write for someone who has never seen her
Short sentences, plain English. Many readers here are not native speakers.
One free post to 40,000 sailors
As an HR-Club seller you may make one promotional post in the Hallberg-Rassy Club group on Facebook — more than 40,000 members who all own or love these boats.
Open the Facebook groupQuestions
The ones that come up most often.
Do I have to be a member?
Yes, but registration is free. You need an account so the boat can be linked to you and buyers know who they are writing to.
Do I need to upload new photos?
No. Your boat's existing profile becomes the sales listing. You add a price, a description and your contact details — nothing else.
Can I sell more than one boat?
Yes. Each boat needs its own listing token, and the larger package costs less per listing than buying tokens one at a time.
What if a broker is handling the sale?
Use the Link to Sales Page field at the bottom of the listing form. Buyers are sent to the broker's own page for the full details.
Which currency do I list in?
Euros. The community is spread across Europe and beyond, so one currency keeps prices comparable.
Ready to list her?
Fair winds and following seas with the sale. If anything is unclear, write to me directly — I read every message.
