Excellent version of the boat. I have owned it since 2019 as the third owner. The boat has a 120% Genoa on a pro-furl system, full-battened mainsail with two reef-points, spinnaker and a smaller newer jib. The boat has been repowered with a Craftsman CM 2.16 marine diesel engine. During the engine-swap I cut a large hole in the cockpit-sole and made an access hatch similar to other HR-models. The boat is also fitted with a Simrad Tp-10 tiller pilot mounted on the starboard cockpit coaming. Other than this, the boat is kept pretty much original. I’ve installed a new distribution panel and rewired the boat. I’ve also added a nature-brown lazybag with lazy-jacks running up to the spreaders. The head is gravity-draining with the septic tank mounted to the forward bulkhead. All thru-hull fittings have been replaced except for the Blakes toilet outlet.
The latest addition to the boat is a NASA – clipper wind instrument wired through the mast and deck, with a nmea2000 converter that hooks it up to the nmea2000 system. This is all relayed through a ORCA-core 2 to my iPad that I have mounted in the cockpit with a custom 3d-printed mount.
